Rent

Rent contributes to the overall running of our housing service. This includes:

  • Staff who work across all schemes (Housing Officers, Income Officers, Housing Managers, Repairs teams, etc.)
  • Repairs and maintenance (emergency and planned work, including kitchens, bathrooms, boilers, roofs and gutters)
  • Safety inspections and follow up actions (asbestos, legionella, electrical, gas, fire, lifts)
  • Ensuring homes meet the Decent Homes Standard for safety, heating and facilities

Service Charges

Service charges cover the additional services provided at your scheme. These normally include:

  • Scheduled visits/calls from Independent Living Coordinators
  • Lifeline Home Alarm Service
  • Communal rooms and laundry facilities
  • Communal cleaning, lighting and fire safety actions

Service charges vary between schemes depending on the services available at each location.
