Notice of intended disposal of open space land
Local Government Act 1972 - Section 123 (2A)
In accordance with section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), notice is hereby given that Rugby Borough Council intends to dispose of a parcel of land at Sunbeam Close, Rugby, CV21 3UL, which consists of open space land.
The land is intended to be disposed by way of a Deed of Easement to National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) PLC for the provision of underground electric lines and telephone signalling fibre optic cables and ancillary apparatus.
A plan showing the precise location of the land in question can be viewed and/or downloaded below, or inspected in person at the Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, CV21 2RR during office hours (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday).
Any objections to the proposed disposal should be made in writing to: Legal and Governance Manager, Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, CV21 2RR.
Objections should be submitted no later than 9am on Friday 20 March 2026.
