Modernising and reconfiguring the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum building
Rugby Art Gallery and Museum (RAGM) is embarking on an exciting project to improve their spaces in order to better deliver their cultural and educational objectives, safeguard the rich heritage assets in their custody and ensure RAGM’s sustainable future.
RAGM is a purpose-built cultural venue opened in 2000, housing Rugby Borough Council’s Art Gallery, Museum, Visitor Centre and the County Council’s Library (under lease until 2125). The facility is Arts Council England Accredited and serves as a vital civic, cultural and educational asset with over 100,000 annual visitors.
The project, which is subject to funding, seeks to modernise and reconfigure the building to meet operational, accessibility, and environmental performance standards, while delivering enhanced cultural experiences, educational capacity, and income generation.
