Due to crew availability we will not be able to complete one black (refuse) round on Tuesday 1 July. This round affects Wolston and Brandon.
There are more and more opportunities becoming available for people with disabilities who would like to become involved in sport.
The Rugby Sport for the Disabled Association is a very strong and popular group in the area. They have a very active and friendly group that meet on a regular basis and have athletes that compete at regional and international levels.
Partners from around Rugby Borough have come together to develop a Disability Sport Network which includes representatives from Rugby Active Network (RAN), Rugby Borough Council Sports Development, Primary Care Trust, Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Sport (CSW Sport), local day care centres, Brooke School, Rugby Sport for the Disabled and Rugby Disability Forum.
The network aims to change and develop disability sport in the borough of Rugby by promoting and supporting inclusive activities in the area.
We can lend disability sport equipment to groups and organisations free of charge, by arrangement. The equipment includes Boccia sets, new age curling, skittles and table top cricket.
