Scheduled to kick off from 8am, the event will connect business support partners, businesses from various industries across the borough, industry experts, councillors, and council officers. It is designed to provide information about business support, foster new connections between like-minded businesses, and encourage innovative thinking in line with evolving industry trends.

Whether they are business-to-consumer or business to business, independent or a supply chain manufacturer or logistics company, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the breadth of support Rugby Borough Council provides in collaboration with external partners—ranging from topics such as employment and skills development to the integration of AI technology into business growth strategies.

The event will include panel discussions, Q and A sessions, and opportunities to engage with innovative local businesses. This time there will be two tailored streams of sessions throughout the morning: B2B – targeting businesses in manufacturing, innovation and technology, supply chain and logistics and the other for B2C – for independents, town centre businesses, retail, food and drink, hospitality and service-based businesses.

Cllr Louise Robinson, Rugby Borough Council portfolio holder for Growth, Investment, Digital and Communications, said: “Our previous business engagement events have been well attended and received positive feedback. Attendees welcomed the opportunities to network with other businesses and organisations providing business support.

“This latest event will be another chance to connect, build valuable relationships, and tap into the support available from across the borough. It’s a great opportunity to discover new collaborations and strengthen the network that drives Rugby’s economy.”

Cllr Isabelle McKenzie, Rugby Borough Council Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Growth, Investment, Digital and Communications, said: “"I am delighted that we are hosting another popular business event.

"These are fantastic opportunities for businesses to network with one another, find the right business support for them and  learn something useful. We hope to see you on the day."
