Disruption and emergencies

Tuesday 20 September - Blue-lid bin collections missed on Saturday will be collected today.

Collections take place in the following streets: Newbold Road, Pantolf Place, Brownsover Road, Allesley Road, Almond Grove, Avonemere, Cotterell Road, Egerton Close, Fosterd Road, Grange Road, Lea Crescent, Main Street, Manor House Close, Meadow Road, Merynton Close, Morris Close, Norman Road, Parkfield Road, Quarry Close, Rankine Close, Robotham Close and Yates Avenue.

Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral - Monday 19 September

The council has put the following arrangements in place for Monday 19 September, a national bank holiday to mark the State Funeral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Refuse collections

Refuse, recycling and garden waste collections will be suspended. Collections scheduled to take place on Monday will take place this Saturday (17 September). Residents should ensure bins are ready for collection from 7am.

The Town Hall, The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, and The Benn Hall

The Town Hall, The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Centre, Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, and The Benn Hall will all be closed on Monday.

Rainsbrook Crematorium

Services set to take place at Rainsbrook Crematorium on Monday will go ahead as scheduled.

Homelessness and property repairs

The council's out-of-hours, emergency hotlines will be in operation on Monday.

Covid-19

Council buildings

The Town Hall currently operates Covid-secure opening hours - 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
