Listed Building Consent

You must obtain Listed Building Consent before making any alterations to a listed building which would affect its architectural or historical importance.

Maintenance and 'like-for-like' repairs do not need listed building consent unless the repairs require the removal of historic material (eg fireplaces, doors and plasterwork).
