Housing Benefit payments
Due to a technical issue, monthly Housing Benefit payments set to be paid yesterday (Thursday 31 July) and today (Friday 1 August) will now be paid by Tuesday (5 August).

Trees in conservation areas
Trees in a Conservation Area have protected status.
You must give the council six weeks' notice before felling, pruning or uprooting a tree in a Conservation Area, unless the tree presents a hazard to public safety or has been made subject to a Tree Preservation Order.
