Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund

Rugby Borough Council has joined forces with energy company E.ON to improve energy efficiency at council homes.

The council has match-funded a £1 million grant from the Government's Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund to fit external wall insulation to homes in Long Lawford and Rokeby.

Tenants receive the energy efficiency improvements free of charge, with E.ON contacting each tenant to arrange a survey of tenant's home.
