Direct Debit payments
Due to a technical issue, council tax and business rates payments set to be paid by Direct Debit today (Thursday 1 May) will now be paid tomorrow (Friday 2 May).

You need a licence from us if you offer acupuncture, tattooing, piercing and/or electrolysis in the borough of Rugby.
Your business premises must also be licensed with us.
Each practitioner who works at your premises must hold a licence.
We charge separate fees for registering your premises and licensing each practitioner who works at your premises.
Please note, we charge no fee for minor changes to the conditions of your premises licence, such as a change of business name or business owner.
In addition, practitioners who hold a licence from us can transfer the licence to work at another premises in the borough without paying a fee.
In both circumstances, simply contact our environmental health and community safety team to notify us of the changes.

You must provide specific information including details of your premises and any previous convictions for practicing without a licence in this field.
There are additional bylaws that apply to skin piercing in the borough of Rugby. You must comply with these bylaws.
We will check to see if you have committed an offence in another council area or been banned by another council.
Tacit consent does not apply to this licence. You cannot carry out any skin piercing until you have a licence from us.
