Due to the funeral of a close colleague and friend, the council's Customer Service Centre will be closed today (Friday 26 April).

Back-office staff will be answering calls, but please be prepared for longer waiting times and the potential for some services to be unavailable.

If the council tax was paid by direct debit then we will pay refunds back into the same bank account that payments came from. We try to do this within 14 days of the account going into credit. Our refunds are issued once a week and should be in accounts on a Thursday.

If an account was not paid by direct debit we will write to you to ask for your bank details to refund the money to you.
