Notice of making a Public Path Order

The Borough of Rugby (Part of Footpath R167) Public Path

Town and Country Planning Act 1990 - Section 257

The above order made on the 31 July 2019 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will:

Stop up part of footpath R167 from Point A (Grid Reference 447769, 273163), running southerly for approximately 185 metres to Point B (Grid Reference 447767, 272976) and create a new footpath from Point A (Grid Reference 447769, 273163), running south westerly for approximately 54 metres to Point C (Grid Reference 447738, 273122), turning south easterly for approximately 11 metres to Point D (Grid Reference 447750, 273120), then southerly for approximately 84 metres to Point E (Grid Reference 447722, 273038), curving easterly for approximately 77 metres to Point F (Grid Reference 447779, 272988), curving southerly for approximately 24 metres to Point G (Grid Reference 447781, 272967), finally turning westerly for approximately 18 metres to Point B (Grid Ref 447767, 272976).

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Copies of the order and map can also be purchased for a fee of £5. Email legal.services@rugby.gov.uk

Representations or objections should be submitted in writing to: Legal, Democratic and Election Services Manager, Rugby Borough Council, Town Hall, Evreux Way, Rugby, CV21 2RR.

Representations or objections must be submitted by 29 August 2019.

If no representations or objections are received, the council can confirm the order as unopposed. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
