Summer Holiday Activities 2019

The whole family can explore and enjoy our renowned Rugby Collection on exhibition this summer. This Summer the collection takes a back to basics look at art and what it means to different people. Examining colour, texture,light, shapes and pattern families can learn and have fun together through play with instruments, magnets, light boxes, and giant animated art attacks in our interactive experience zone.  See the Rugby Collection page for Rugby Collection family activities.

Workshops and Activities
Children must be accompanied by an adult for all activities except for the full day animation and pottery workshop.  Suggested donation £1 for drop-in activities

Art Inspired Face Painting - Drop-in session, children must be accompanied by an adult

Choose your favourite painting and let our face painter create an art inspired design.

How do different paintings make you feel? A family session where our music man will help you create art inspired music.

Big Build Day - Drop-in session, children must be accompanied by an adult

Help create a giant rocket using recycled materials.

Animation Workshop

Plan, script, build, animate, edit and add sound to your own animated short story using Lego. A not to be missed workshop for budding film makers.
