Irish born Norah McGuinness (1901- 1988) moved to London and became a part of English Gallerist, Lucy Wertheim’s ‘Twenties Group’ of young artists as well as the avant-garde London Group where she continued to paint figurative scenes as well as the highly colourful landscapes which she is perhaps best known.
