Help and support to get a Covid-19 vaccine

RUGBY Borough Council is to open a community drop-in for residents who would like help and support to register for a Covid-19 vaccine.

Working with colleagues in the NHS and in the community, the drop-in will run on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am to 1pm. It will run at the Benn Partnership Centre, Railway Terrace, Rugby CV21 3HR, starting on Monday 24 May.

Vanessa Niemczewska, Community Projects Officer at Rugby Borough Council, said: “We know that a number of our residents would quite like to get a vaccine but aren’t sure what they need to do, or perhaps need reassuring that it’s the right thing to do.

“Residents can come along to the drop-in and we will be able to give them information about the vaccines. If they wish, we will also talk them through the steps they need to take, or alternatively we can book a vaccine appointment for them and for their families.”
