Lifeline home alarm service
The Lifeline home alarm offers a quick and simple way to call for help in the event of an emergency.
It offers peace of mind at the touch of a button.
Lifeline provides a computerised link between your home and the council's 24-hour control centre. You can raise the alarm by activating the Lifeline unit or pressing the light-weight alarm trigger. You can wear this trigger around your neck or wrist, or attach it to your clothing. Our operator has your name and address and can check how you are, call for help or arrange an immediate visit if necessary.
All council sheltered accommodation comes with the Lifeline home alarm service. Other residents can also have Lifeline for just £5.52 per week. Some residents may qualify for a VAT exemption and will pay just £4.60 per week. Payment can be made by Direct Debit, with invoices sent annually.
