Licence to carry out acupuncture, tattooing, piercing and/or electrolysis

You need a licence from us if you offer acupuncture, tattooing, piercing and/or electrolysis in the borough of Rugby.

Your business premises must also be licensed with us.

Each practitioner who works at your premises must hold a licence.

We charge separate fees for registering your premises and licensing each practitioner who works at your premises.

Please note, we charge no fee for minor changes to the conditions of your premises licence, such as a change of business name or business owner.

In addition, practitioners who hold a licence from us can transfer the licence to work at another premises in the borough without paying a fee.

In both circumstances, simply contact our licensing team to notify us of the changes.
