How to pay your business rates
- Direct Debit
- Other ways to pay
Direct Debit
You can pay Business Rates in a number of ways, though the council prefers payment by Direct Debit.
We do all the work for you - the council and your bank/building society take care of all the details. You're always advised, at least 14 days in advance, of any changes to the amounts or dates, so you have time to query the bill if necessary.
Instalment dates
You can pay your Business Rates by Direct Debit on either the 1st, 12th, 19th or 26th of each month.
In addition, you can also pay by weekly, fortnightly or four-weekly instalments (please note deductions for weekly, fortnightly or four-weekly instalments will be made from your nominated bank account on Mondays).
How to change Direct Debit payments
Simply print off and complete the Direct Debit mandate form - ensure you quote the account reference from your bill and the other details accurately.
Alternatively, you can sign up to Direct Debit by calling us using the details below.
