Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO) - dog control

We want to hear your views on proposals to add sites in Long Lawford and Wolston to the list of sites currently covered by the borough's existing dog control Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).

Long Lawford Parish Council has raised concerns about the risks to others, especially children, from dogs being walked off lead at King George V Playing Field and Cherwell Way Play Area.

The council proposes to add both sites to the list of public spaces where dogs must be on a lead at all times.

Wolston Parish Council has raised concerns about dogs being walked off lead at Dyers Lane Recreation Ground and Bluemels Drive Play Areas.

The council proposes to add Dyers Lane to the list of public spaces where dogs must be on a lead at all times. The council proposes Bluemels Drive Play Areas be added to the list of public spaces where dogs must be put on a lead when requested to do so by an authorised officer. Dogs must still be kept on a lead when in a play area with play equipment.
