If the council tax was paid by direct debit then we will pay refunds back into the same bank account that payments came from. We try to do this within 14 days of the account going into credit. Our refunds are issued once a week and should be in accounts on a Thursday.

If an account was not paid by direct debit we will write to you to ask for your bank details to refund the money to you.
