Adoption

Rugby Borough Council, at a meeting of full council on 4 June 2019  decided to make the Brandon and Bretford Neighbourhood Development Plan under Section 38A(4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).

The Brandon and Bretford Neighbourhood Development Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for Rugby Borough and will be taken into account in local planning decisions. 

Referendum on the Brandon and Bretford Neighbourhood Plan

A referendum on the Brandon and Bretford Neighbourhood Plan took place on Thursday 2 May.

The referendum asked the following question:

'Do you want Rugby Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Brandon and Bretford area to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?'
