Lifeline Alarm

Stay Safe with a Lifeline Alarm
The Lifeline alarm is a personal alarm scheme ideal for anyone in the Rugby Community who wants the security of a 24 hours a day, 365 days a year emergency helpline. And, most importantly, if we are unable to reach one of your registered contacts one of our team will respond in person.
It is perfect for anyone who:
- Lives alone and wants to feel more secure
- Has health issues
- Has a disability
- Is at risk of falling
- Is living in a vulnerable situation
How does the Lifeline Alarm Service work?
Should you feel unwell in danger or suffer a fall, all you need to do is press the red button on your pendant or base unit. This sends an alert through to our Lifeline team at the Lifeline Control Centre, who will respond immediately via the loudspeaker.
Your situation is assessed and the appropriate action is taken. This commonly involves our Lifeline team calling your emergency contacts who will have been selected during the set-up process. This usually includes family members, neighbours and close friends.
If you need medical help, our Lifeline team will contact the emergency services on your behalf. Any medical information will also be passed on to the paramedics so that they are in the best possible position to help you once they arrive.

Our service is unique in that if we are unable to reach one of the registered contacts our team will respond in person offering total peace of mind.

The Lifeline team responds to Joan's fall
Joan was getting out of bed when she slipped and fell. Unable to get up, Joan alerted the Independent Living Team at the control centre using her Lifeline pendant.
The control centre alerted her neighbour – one of her registered contacts. The neighbour advised the Independent Living Team that Joan was okay but unable to move. An ambulance was called and Joan was taken to hospital with a suspected broken hip.
Knowing that help is available 24 hours a day 365 days a year gives peace of mind to people like Joan and their families.
Affordable and Simple
