The Open Register is an extract of the the Electoral Register, but is not used for elections. The Open Register can be bought by any person, company or organisation and may be used for marketing purposes.

Your name and address will be included in the Open Register unless you ask for your details to be removed. Removing your details from the Open Register does not affect your right to vote.

To remove your details from the Open Register, please complete this online form. You will receive written confirmation from the council when your details have been removed.

Each elector requesting to be removed from the Open Register must complete the online form separately.
