The coronation of King Charles III takes place in May, with communities across the country encouraged to come together in a spirit of celebration.
The coronation of His Majesty The King takes place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May, the centrepiece of a Coronation Weekend which includes the opportunity for family, friends and neighbours to join the Coronation Big Lunch on Sunday 7 May.
Street Parties
Residents who wish to celebrate the coronation and join the Coronation Big Lunch can apply to the council for relevant permissions, including temporary road closures.
Applications to hold a street party and/or a temporary road closure on Sunday 7 May must be submitted to the council by 5pm on Monday 27 March.

Community celebration in Caldecott Park
The council has organised a community celebration in Caldecott Park to mark the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6 May.
The event includes live music, street entertainers, inflatables and the chance to watch the coronation service on a giant screen broadcast live from Westminster Abbey.
