The Sport & Recreation Department's primary role is to enable individuals and communities to participate in sport, leisure and health promoting activities.

The Sports Development service has a strong commitment to improve quality of life through enabling a wide variety of sport & physical activity opportunities. This service works in partnership with education and the community to promote and enhance sporting opportunities throughout Rugby.

The Active Lifestyles section offers advice and information on maintaining a healthy way of life.
Cycling and walking routes for people of all levels and experience.

Giving you concessionary use to a number of venues around the Borough.
A range of activities including swimming are also available at Rugby's community sports facility, the Ken Marriott Sports Centre.
Positive Futures - utilises a programme of activities that use challenge and adventure as an educational and developmental tool. Offering a unique environment of new experiences and positive structured conditions to provide individuals with opportunities to develop their skills and boost their confidence and self-esteem. The project is targeted at 10-19 year olds who reside within the Newbold ward.
