The Sport & Recreation Department's primary role is to enable individuals and communities to participate in sport, leisure and health promoting activities.
There are 3 divisions within the sport and recreation service:
The Sports Development
service has a strong commitment to improve quality of life through
enabling a wide variety of sport & physical activity opportunities.
This service works in partnership with education and the community to
promote and enhance sporting opportunities throughout Rugby.
Sports grants and other funding opportunities
Sporting activities and events for young people
The Active Lifestyles section offers advice and information on maintaining a healthy way of life.
Cycling and walking routes for people of all levels and experience.
How to apply for a Leisure Pass
Giving you concessionary use to a number of venues around the Borough.
A range of activities including swimming are also available at Rugby's community sports facility, the Ken Marriott Sports Centre.
