The Sport Relief Mile in Rugby is just two weeks away.
The Rugby Mile starts from The Close, at Rugby School in Barby Road at 10.30am.
Chris Bryden, Sports and Active Recreation officer at Rugby Borough Council, said: "The Rugby Mile is set to be an amazing day.
"It's fantastic that so many people of Rugby are gathering together to show their support for Sport Relief 2010. But we want this to be the best Sport Relief event yet, so we still need more people to raise their game, enter the Rugby Mile and join us to raise plenty of cash!"
Runners can choose their own distance challenge from one, three or six miles.
That means there's something for everyone, from teeny tots with their mums and dads, to super sprinters up against the clock.
By getting sponsored to do the Sport Relief Mile runners are helping to make a big difference. The money raised will be spent by Comic Relief to help transform lives here in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.
Sport Relief has a unique history of dedicated people doing extraordinary things to rise to the challenge. Last summer Eddie Izzard set an incredible standard by running an amazing 43 marathons in 51 days around the UK and there will be even more amazing celebrity challenges to get the whole nation geared up for the Sport Relief Weekend, from David Walliams and friends on the Sport Relief Million Pound Bike Ride, to Helen Skelton's Amazing Amazon Adventure, to Christine Bleakley's Sport Relief Waterski Challenge.
