Removal of bulky waste items
If residents of domestic properties in the Borough have large bulky items of domestic waste, such as furniture, that require disposal, the Council offers a bulky waste collection service.
The following charges are applicable for the Council's Bulky Waste Collection Service:
The first 3 items are to be charged at £7.00 per item, each subsequent item is to be charged at £4.00.
An example is shown below:
1 x Cooker £7.00
1 x Armchair £7.00
1 x Mattress £7.00
1 x Lawnmower £4.00

TOTAL COST: £25.00

However, if you have a significant quantity of bulky items an Officer of the Council will visit you and provide you with a quotation for the work.
Please note that we cannot collect any broken glass.
