Renting a Council garage
The Council rents out garages on a number of sites around the borough.
They are to be used for storing a car or motorbike and the garage must be within walking distance of your home address. Only one garage per household is allowed.
The rent from 1st April 2012:
Council Tenants will pay £7.04
Private Tenants will pay £8.44 (Private tenants pay VAT on this amount)
Carport rents are £3.04 for council tenants and £3.65 for private tenants.
You will need to download and complete an application form, to go on to the waiting list and provide either:
- Vehicle Registration document
- Vehicle lease agreement,
