How to get permits
Rugby Borough Council issue permits for Resident Parking Zones in the Rugby area on behalf of the highways authority Warwickshire County Council.
Two types of permit exist:
The cost of a Resident Permit and Visitor Permits is £15 each.
There are a number of parking zones in Rugby and holders of permits may park in any of the streets within each zone where there are marked parking areas for residents.
1. Resident permits which have vehicle registration numbers shown on them.
2. Visitors permits
Each permit is valid for a twelve-month period and is valid only for cars, motorcycles and light vans used for domestic purposes.
In the event of a change of vehicle, a new permit will be issued free of charge upon production of the existing permit.
