Health and Safety Team
Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) are responsible for making the
places we work safe. EHOs visit premises to ensure that the required standards for health and safety are met and offer advice on how to protect employees and members of the public.
EHO's are often required to investigate accidents in the work place or public places, however, the main focus of the EHOs work is more positive: working to reduce accidents by helping to create a safe working environment.
EHO's believe that improved conditions of work should extend to all workers regardless of their type of employment, geography, vulnerability or age.
