The deadline for applications is Monday 18th October 2010
Rugby Borough Council's Art Grant is a funding stream aimed at helping community, artists and organisations to develop and sustain the services and activities they offer by providing a development grant.
Grants are offered for arts activities engaging with community groups and new audiences within the Rugby Borough.
Applications are considered twice each financial year. A total of six £1,000 grants will be allocated to Community Arts Projects in Rugby.
Three will be awarded in Round One and three will be awarded in Round Two.
In aiming to meet the Council's key strategic priorities, your application should meet one or more of the following:
- Develop opportunities for people to enjoy a healthy lifestyle
- Increase activities for young people
- Develop the art gallery as a place for exciting innovative contemporary exhibitions that will attract new audiences and raise regional and national profile.
