Rugby Collection of 20th Century British Art
For more than half a century, Rugby has been collecting work by modern artists: Spencer, Freud, Lowry, Hepworth, Sutherland to name a few.
With the opening of the stunning new Art Gallery in Spring 2000, the Rugby Collection of 20th century British Art at last has a permanent home. Exhibitions of artwork from the Rugby Collection form part of the gallery programme with an extended Summer show.
As the collection is not on permanent display please check our exhibition programme for exhibition dates and if you are interested in a particular painting you can make an appointment to see it in the stores.
