Relaxed Hour

Relaxed Hour

The gallery is an inspiring place for children to visit. However, we understand that public outings with children with needs can often be challenging. We therefore offer a dedicated timeslot where children can explore in their own time without the usual day to day distractions and take park in facilitated workshop.

Using the ‘Kids in Museums -Autism Guidelines’ and meeting with the Rugby Autism Network, we have implemented some suggestions from this partnership.

Rugby Art Gallery and Museums Relaxed Hour will take place on:

2019

  • Thursday 25th April 3.30 – 5.00 in the World Rugby Hall of Fame. THe Hall of Fame will be closed to the public. After spending time in the Hall of Fame the education rooms will be open for a rugby themed activity.  We offer ear defenders in this special session and throughout the year.
  • Thursday 25th July 3.30- 5.00 Roman Craft Session (Archaeology gallery closed to the public)
  • Saturday 2nd November 10.00 – 11.00 Halloween Craft (Art Gallery/Social History Gallery Closed to public)
